Locking Stem System for Driftmaster Rod Holders
By Keith “Catfish” Sutton
You won’t have to worry about a big catfish repositioning your rod when it hits if you’re using Driftmaster’s patented locking stem design.
Driftmaster Rod Holders has a patented locking stem design that will prevent your rod from turning left or right when a fish hits. The company has long made left-thread rod holders and bases for the port side and right-thread holders for the starboard side to help with this, but their locking stem and lock sprocket prevent turning altogether. These are easy to adjust and lock in position.
“We have used this proven design on our T-bars for years,” says Driftmaster owner David Baynard. “Now it’s available on our Duo rod holders as well.”
