Using log books to record past fishing data is an excellent tool for catching more fish in the future. A simple notebook will do, but in this age of technology a variety of electronic tools are available for anglers to automatically create a log of your fishing activities. The result is a history of where, when, and under what conditions you put fish in the boat. A good log provides a roadmap for future adventures. Regardless of which type you use—your catch rate is likely to be better.
