Always Prepare with Joni Taylor
The sport of catfishing is amazing in the way it brings so many people together. Personally, I enjoy the sport for the quality time that I get to spend with friends and family.
It’s all fun and games until I either get cold, hungry, or start getting eaten by the bugs. So, my best advice to all the lady anglers (and men too!) is threefold.
- Always pack plenty of food and drinks. My favorite boat food is a cold sub on a hot day or a cup of soup/ramen on a cold day.
- Always dress warm! You can always take off layers.
- Always pack a Thermacell or bug spray to ward off the critters.
A great day on the water is all about preparation. The days on the water can be long and conditions are always changing so it’s always good to be prepared.
