The Pro Guide Boat by SeaArk
The SeaArk Pro Guide boat was highly anticipated in various user circles, including the catfish community. It is called Pro Guide for a reason, and charter captains have taken a liking to the features this boat offers.
From its Self-draining bow deck to the huge 100 gallon livewell in the back deck this boat is made for fishing. In between those great features are a 25 gallon bow livewell with rounded corners, dual aluminum side consoles, a ProCat walk thru windshield, two lockable 8 foot 6 inch rod boxes and a 59 gallon aluminum belly fuel tank. And, for those anglers wanting to add a bait tank there is a designated area with tie-down eyes to accommodate it. The Pro Guide comes in four standard colors with custom options available too.
Anglers will also have a 12 volt accessory outlet with USB port, LED courtesy light, prewired 6 gauge trolling motor wiring, LED removable navigation lights, an engine specific speedometer, fuel gauge, automatic bilge pump, three battery trays, covered and floored area for battery storage, a transducer bracket, bow tilt-trim switch, 1600 gallon per hour fresh water aerator, livewell recirculation pump, oxygenator, auto pump out switch, wash down pump and hose, litter box livewell system, and hydraulic steering.
The boat comes standard with four captain’s chairs, but two more can be added to carry six anglers safely and comfortably.
Although not designed for catfishing explicitly, the SeaArk Pro Guide is an excellent catfish boat. Just ask Terry Rogers.
Terry operates Hooked on Cats Guide Services on the Mississippi, Ohio, Cumberland, and Tennessee Rivers in Western Kentucky. He chose the SeaArk Pro Guide so he can provide a safe, fun, family friendly adventure chasing trophy cats. He has been carrying guests for about three months now and is convinced that the Pro Guide from SeaArk Boats is exactly what he needed.
“When I first saw the layout of the new Pro Guide model I knew it was the perfect boat for me,” stated Rogers. “I knew that it would fit my style of fishing perfectly. The thing that I liked most was the added room in the passenger section. The extra room allows clients to be able to move around more safely and freely without feeling cramped or confined.”
“The extra room is also great when my guests are fighting and landing big fish,” continued Rogers. “They have all the room they need. The ride is very smooth and stability is a plus. The Pro Guide gives me a smoother and more stable ride than the ProCat 240 I had before.
His expectations were confirmed by his customers when they say things like, “This thing is a ship. I just love all the room. Beautiful boat that is perfect for catfishing. This thing is unbelievably stable.” And the most common comment of all, “This thing is awesome!”
“Stability and safety while fishing on the big rivers is one of my top concerns,” concluded Rogers. “In my opinion, the overall safety, stability and fishability of the Pro Guide is head and shoulders above the competition.”
