SeaArk Dynasty for Fishing, Family, and Kids
Rigging for young anglers benefits everyone.
The SeaArk Dynasty boat was highly anticipated by catfish anglers. Many waited willingly to receive theirs during the production slowdown that accompanied the COVID pandemic. This 22-foot, 15-degree catfishing boat is set up with a 100-gallon livewell, a tackle storage box, and an 8-foot center rod box which makes it perfect for tournament fishing. But catfish anglers have families and they use the Dynasty too.
Jeremy Coe, SeaArk Territory Sales Manager is quick to point out some of the Dynasty’s features that benefit families with kids. In the first place, there is plenty of room for young anglers to move around safely in the back. That’s because the rod lockers have been moved to under the front deck with access between the consoles. That design feature leaves more room for fishing and more room for kids.
“The windshield and Bimini top that connects to the windshield provides great protection from the weather,” pointed out Coe. “During the colder months and even the wet seasons, that protection keeps kids and everyone else comfortable and fishing longer.”
“Don’t forget the shallow swimming pool provided by the 100-gallon livewell,” joked Coe. “It will keep them cool on those hot summer days. And if they misbehave, just give them a timeout in the oversized rod locker.”
Avid catfish angler, Larry Muse intends to win a few tournaments out of his Dynasty, but he also plans to have some grandkids on board.
“I have added Rock Creek Rodzilla Bars on the sides,” explained Larry. “They let the smaller grandkids fish from down in the boat and not have to get up on the deck. It is much safer for them.”
Some of the best options that benefit the youngsters come from the factory.
“The door keeps the kids from running all over the boat,” advised Larry. “It is another safety thing and there isn’t nothin’ more important than safety with little ones on the boat.”
“The windshield blocks the wind on a cool morning just like riding in a car,”
continued Larry. “And when it gets hot, the spray down hose is fun to spray ‘em with. It’s not only fun, it cools ‘em down. Can’t forget the Bimini top either. It keeps them from getting sunburn and suffering when they get home. When they’re more comfortable they have more fun.”
Frank Meador (affectionately known as “Pop”) is Larry’s dad and tournament partner. He also benefits from Larry’s Dynasty setup.
“Pop can fish without getting out of the seat,” explained Larry. “It makes tournament fishing easier for him.”
Larry often takes his grandson Frankie on the Dynasty. At 13 years old, 5 feet 7 inches tall, and 270 pounds, Frankie fell in love with the boat. So much so, that he made a video with Larry praising the SeaArk Dynasty.
“The SeaArk is the best fishing boat ever made,” Frankie said in the video. “And if it ain’t, in the next couple of years SeaArk will make something even better.”
When SeaArk Boats President Steve Henderson heard of Frankie’s praise and confidence in SeaArk, he sent him a SeaArk jersey and a hand-written note.
“Dear Frankie,” the note said. “I want to thank you for always supporting SeaArk in a positive light. Please accept this jersey along with an honorary pro staff position. We look forward to watching you catch trophy catfish for years to come.”
So even though it’s designed to give the ultimate experience as a catfishing boat, the Dynasty goes much further. It provides safety, comfort, and fun for the entire family.
