It’s never too early to start fishing.
Toddlers are introduced to the great outdoors at Go Fish Georgia. Parents, grandparents, and toddlers are welcomed each month to an educational program that explores different topics each month. Their programs typically include a brief lesson, sing-along songs, storytime, animal encounters, hands-on activities, and crafts. It is a perfect example of the old saying, “It’s never too early to start.”
By targeting kids at the youngest ages, the program is sure to develop a connection between toddlers and the great outdoors. This program is designed for ages 2 to 4, but siblings are welcome to attend. There are modest fees for participation but well worth the cost. Remember that space is limited and pre-registration is required. To register for this program, please visit their page at https://gofisheducationcenter.com/calendar-gfec. Choose the program you are interested in on the calendar and click on it to register. Siblings of toddlers are welcome to attend. Those under the age of one or over the age of four do not need to register.
CatfishNOW applauds Georgia Go Fish Educational Center for introducing the great outdoors to kids. It is a stepping stone to building a relationship with nature that hopefully grows stronger as they get older.
