The Cats Incredible Tournament draws teams from up and down the Red River
Valley from Manitoba to Fargo, and teams from Nebraska, Missouri and Arkansas.

This competition brings the community together and builds sportsmanship among the competitors. It truly is a one-of-a-kind memorable event.
The 37th Annual Cats Incredible Catfish Tournament is set for Friday, July 26, and Saturday, July 27, on 32 miles of the Red River, in East Grand Forks, Minnesota.
The tournament is the highlight of “Catfish Days,” which runs from Friday, July 26 through Sunday July 28, at LaFave Park Boat and Ramp Recreational Area in East Grand Forks. Tournament fishing hours are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday July 26 and from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday July 27. The Tournament awards ceremony will be held at 7 p.m. July 27, with a “Fisherman’s Happy Hour” and door prize giveaway from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Cats Incredible is open to 125 two-person teams. The entry fee is $280 per team. Teams can weigh in five catfish each day, of which two can be longer than 24 inches. There are over $28,000 in cash and prizes, with a $10,000 first place prize with 125 teams, along with many door prizes and raffles.
While Catfish Days includes the Cats Incredible Tournament, East Side Rides Car Show and Swap Meet, Beer Gardens and dance, once again this year the DockDogs are sharing the limelight with thousands of spectators showing up to cheer on the canine competitors. Billed as “the fastest sport on four legs,” the three-day DockDogs event draws competitors from all over the USA.
The East Grand Forks Firefighters Union, International Association of Firefighters Local 3423, organizes the Catfish Days Events and the Cats Incredible Catfish Tournament.
