Editor’s Note: Godwin is known for his role in the Duck Commanders enterprise and also for his crappie fishing. I know for a fact that he has also caught the catfish fever. A little bottom bumping on the Mississippi River with Bill Dance and George Young instilled a yearning for catfishing too. In reality, he is an overall outdoorsman!
MONTICELLO, AR (July16, 2019) – Duck Commanders very own John Godwin is the newest addition to the SeaArk Boats Pro Staff Team.
John grew up hunting deer with his father, but once introduced to the world of duck hunting, he became captivated. John has worked for Duck Commander since 2002 building duck calls, managing supplies, and overseeing the shipping department. During duck season, however, Johns main title is decoy technician.
John Godwin says, “I am almost speechless,” when he finally got a look at his new SeaArk Stealth 210. “This is the premier boat for crappie fishing, I mean it is perfect. ”Godwin also stated that he “loves how big the front and rear deck is, and how much storage this boat has in it.”
Steve Henderson, President of SeaArk Boats stated, “We are so glad to have John Godwin as a new member of our SeaArk Pro Staff team.” “John is a good Christian man and a great fisherman, and we couldn’t be more excited to see what the future holds.”
