$10,000 Points Race will also be determined.
The Twisted Cat Outdoors 2020 Championship will be held on Lake of the Ozarks, MO. The Championship is a no entry fee, $10,000 payout event plus prizes from the trail’s sponsors.
As it turned out, the $10,000 points race has come down to the final event. With the top 5 places only 1 point apart, the points race will be determined on Lake of the Ozarks too. It will be a $20,000 kind of weekend for Twisted Cat Outdoors on October 17, 2020.
The field was chosen by taking the Top 50 anglers for the season, based on their top 5 events. Then every first place and big fish winner of the season was added. The result is a championship eligible field of 69 anglers. As of this writing, the selection process has resulted in 29 boats.
Special Note on Fish Limits: The tournament is a 5 fish weigh-in but It is important to note that the tournament will not have a slot limit on channel cats or flatheads. The Missouri slot on blues is 26-34 inches. Anglers can weigh only 2 blue cats.
